Artesana will participate in the 46th Crafts Fair in Pinerolo from September 9 to 11, 2022. This event will take place in the center of this town and will be dedicated to ingenuity, art, and technique, with a particular emphasis on the role of crafts and professions.
Artesana
Artesana was purchased at a ‘store-closing sale’ for 5 euros. Initially, it was a simple female mannequin, but after some modifications, it came to life, wearing on its skin the meaning of representation, rebirth, and change.
Her age is unknown, but we can say that after spending a year in the darkness of a garage, only allowing a brief appearance in the
background of a musical show, Artesana has finally come to life and is ready to convey a message, which is quite clear on her skin.
Artesana has been dressed in 47 different crafts: the crafts represented by CNA (National Confederation of Crafts and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises). The materials used are exclusively reclaimed.
Artesana is a symbol of Representation: together, we can do a lot for the territory in which we live, hyperconnected. This is the value of an association like CNA.
This work will be exhibited inside the CNA booth (Piazza del Duomo in Pinerolo) during the 46th Crafts Fair in Pinerolo from September 9 to 11, 2022. Subsequently, Artesana will be donated to the Secretary Filippo Provenzano of CNA Torino and can be viewed at his office.
